Fireworks AI (opens in a new tab) is making it easier and more cost-effective for businesses to build, customize, and deploy generative AI models. With AI increasingly impacting almost all industries, Fireworks AI is helping to broaden accessibility to the technology; its customers span startups, digital native companies, and traditional enterprises.
Many of these customers want to adopt AI but face similar challenges: the cost and complexity of building models from the ground up, and then tailoring them to the needs and objectives of their business.
Fireworks AI set out to overcome these challenges, partnering with AWS and leveraging a number of AWS products and services to power and scale its offering. Instead of building from scratch, Fireworks AI’s platform enables businesses to run and experiment with market-leading models, such as DeepSeek, Llama, and Mistral, using a single line of code. These models can then be easily customized to specific requirements without the need for complex pipelines or machine learning expertise.
As a result, startups can generate completely new innovative user experiences; digital native companies can polish up their existing product experiences; and traditional enterprises can boost productivity across their task force.
Like the customers it serves, Fireworks AI also faced challenges when it came to building and deploying its platform. Low latency, high scalability, high reliability, and cost efficiency were all “of top concern,” says Lin Qiao, Co-Founder and CEO at Fireworks AI. When choosing a cloud provider to help power its platform, it sought a “combination of flexibility and production quality,” and for this, it turned it AWS.
AWS provided the tools, underlying infrastructure, and capacity Fireworks AI needed to support its developers and wider business in its early stages, scale services as it grew, and ensure its platform was reliable, stable, and secure.
